0:00 Ooh nice riffs on the bottom there. Very melodic. Nice melody you're using
0:14 Layering is good. Giving me epic vibes. Got some cool stuff going on.
0:25 I wish the drums here were a bit punchier, they feel a bit "woolly" and rough. To complete the punchiness and epicness of the melody. I'm not quite sure the sample selection is optimal.
1:03 But the melodies are keeping me going. They are very candy nice.
1:13 I think the build up here needs to be a little more dramatic. Since the kick doesn't have much high end you can barely hear it speeding up.
1:37 This is a really nice melody though!
1:43 Competing melodies. Somehow if you could find a way to separate them in the mix I think that could be good.
1:57 But the melodies themselves are quite strong! They do feel a bit "layered on" though, so to speak.
2:11 OOH the harmonies here are quite nice. I like it.
2:22 I'm not sure how they drop out like that halfway though. It feels a little weird
2:35 Yet again the drums are the thing letting it down. It's okay though because I'm still enjoying myself.

Overall I think this was a bunch of great melodies and nice vibes perhaps let down by slightly lackluster drum selection and a kick that doesn't have enough high end to warrant the drop in the middle. Towards the end, the melodies started to conflict in a way that I didn't find pleasing. However, I feel like this track could be better if polished a little more. It probably needs a little variance in "mode" too, so to speak, so it doesn't just seem like elements are being stacked on top of each other.

Thanks for sharing your track, it's got some really nice melodies and some good selections. Keep bringing the awesome work!

this sounds like the embodiment of being stoned! someone needs to rap on this immediately. i might. soon. lol.

anyways it's one of the coolest beats

i don't know how anyone can ever play the guitar this good

absolutely gobsmackingly good

made in 3 hours huh? let's see how it goes
0:13 ooh i like that bells riff
0:20 i thought it was going to drop into half time here but i was mistaken
0:30 building up nicely with the risers! very cool
0:38 ooh the groove here is real! i should probably listen to the original
0:49 this one bops pretty hard. i like the refusal to go into halftime
1:00 mixed really well! everything in its right place, as the head of radios might have said once upon an a+ kid
1:25 nice breakdown. i think maybe could use a bit more layers here
1:36 ooh this is a different riff altogether! nice progression.
2:08 i like the riff

this is riff-tastic! the beat itself is funkaaaay. i haven't heard the original but i think this stands alone as a great piece. some parts i felt could use more exciting experimentation but given this was made in approx 3 hours you are right, it is pretty good! i think it could be experimented on even more. this is extremely solid though!

Whoa, thats some pretty good advice! Thanks!

1:30 this arp is quite nice! it's soothing. you've got it at a good place
1:38 ooh this sounds like it goes underwater with that kick
1:58 you got some subtle overtones going on here! spo000ky
3:15 wow this kind of stays at the same tack doesn't it
3:50 spo0000ky

this is really nice! it has a nice and eerie atmosphere which is accentuated by the cool chords and the dreamy synths throughout. i do think the track could be improved by some more daring instrumentation and progression. a lot of it does seem on the same dynamics level and you could bring more excitement. however i do like the sound design and the way the dreamy synths are layered on top of each other. there's great potential there. love it. keep it up!

0:00 Ooh i like the brass, they're doing brassy things
0:10 drum and bass coming through. nicely mixed
0:18 this is pretty well composed! generally nice stuff
0:25 wow you're taking me on a ride, i'm feeling it
0:32 those snares be poppin
0:38 that subtle bass in the background
0:43 arps be going upwards. where are they going? spaceward. that's for sure
1:11 sounds dubby somehow
1:17 interesting synth punctuation
1:25 you got that riff returning. noice
1:52 that bass be thicccccc yo
2:27 arps back here
3:03 nice!

i like this song! it's a good song. thick bass, nice riffs, the drum loop is basic and hearkens back to tradition. i wish it progressed a bit more, would have liked to see more automation clips and different stuff here and there but overall not too bad! i would say to just make it weirder and more wild in general but as it is it's actually quite decent. i like.

Rorrapalooza responds:

Hey, thanks a million, my doge! I'll keep you posted on that track I snagged from you, working on a Libby Shimmz track as well, much fun to be had!

0:05 Nice melody. I feel the piano is a bit stiff but it's alright.
0:14 Got a lot of compressed guitars but the general melodies are real nice.
0:33 Bangarang-style arps.
0:42 Okay, this is nice video game drop. I like. That main synth is quite comforting.
0:56 It's full and mastered to the point where it would make a good podcast slogan or something. This is actually quite nice.
1:18 Building more up. Wish it was a little less compressed but still...
1:30 Ooh, the rhythms of that second synth line coming in. Nice!
1:40 Bringing in the harmonies. Good call.
1:47 I could see some D&D type montage going well with this.
2:00 That chromatic (?) scale is pretty fantastic. Or whatever scale it was.
2:10 Anime opening vibes. Got me good.
2:22 Nice layering. Still compressed to nothing else, though :(
2:36 Build-up is going great.
2:50 Was expecting a second type of drop, but I guess first type of drop is comfortable too! ^_^
3:05 This is pretty nice and smooth.
3:20 I like this second type of drop.
3:28 Again with the harmonies. Nice.
3:36 Okay this is good progression right here. Bring it back for tension.

Hey! This was really great! Good melodies, good composition. Had a good progression too. I liked the harmonies that came in in different layers. Even though I thought that the track as a whole was compressed in a way that made it feel a bit too much, a little too flat, it was still kept reasonably impactful in the way that it brought new layers to the table. I usually do not prefer my melodies so candy sweet unless they have room to breathe, but even at the drop, it was still comfortable to listen to, so I'm not too offended. It's a well-composed song! *Like*

0:04 Okay, we've got something going here.
0:09 I like the lower notes.
0:18 Wicked drums. I can feel their latent evil encroaching.
0:32 Insert "Lord Flacko" here.
0:48 Needs some low pitch rappers up in this bellowing billowing baffling bootery.
1:31 Okay, backwards stuff. Interesting. *skips forward*
2:27 There's breakbeat in here! There we go. Scratchies.
2:42 Guitar loops being scratched. 'Ere goes.
2:55 Silencio. The ominous Aphex-y bass-ments.
*skips forward*
4:05 Okay, this is truly ominous. I can feel the dungeon vibes.
4:20 This is probably the best part of the track. It has feel and vibe and flow.
4:30 Yes, I would unironically listen to this vibe. This is a vibe. It is.
4:42 Things fade out but I want them to fade *in* because it was finally picking up speed.
4:55 Mmkay, this is going down.
5:03 Ship crashes.

I like it, really! Very much picked up speed towards the end just as it was... finishing. That finale could be spruced up into a full moody, Burial-style track, I think. Good live Twitching!

everyone matters
