Wow, those drums.

The drums are pretty awesome. The cymbal is a bit loud. You make music on your keyboard don't you? It's very cool, but maybe put it through a mixing program to get the sounds to sound just right volume. But very cool, and chill :)

Benny

I personally like the echo

It's very funky. It's not bad at all. It sounds like something off an old karate movie. Jackie Chan: "HWAAAAAAAA!" (That was the sound of him kicking. I know, I did a horrible job, oh well.)

Sounds like a wonderful walk in the Zen Garden. Just a little bit of distortion, but is fine.

Benny

Very good, a lot of mixing problems.

I like the way you compose. It's very nice. It needs a bit of mastering, to eliminate the distortion. What program do you use? You can send files to me, and I'll try to mix them accordingly to sound clean and crisp :) Because the melodies are very nice

Benny

Smooth for the most part, needs better mixing

I like the chords. They're very nice. The synth at about 0:08 you could turn down a few notches. It's very loud and overbearing. It takes away from the calm-ish atmosphere. But at 0:30, the chords don't really meld well. It feels like the arpeggio you create is in a different key. There's also a lot of clipping/distortion in the mix, esp. when that huge synth comes through. Just a few pointers.

Benny

Calm, soothing

This is a very soothing melody, and nice to hear. There's a little bit of clipping (that is, distortion, on the main melody. But I like the clicking noises, and the general vibe. It's very chill. It'd be very cool background music for a game menu, or even the game itself. The drums are very cool.

Overall, well done :)
Benny

P.S. don't worry about the downvoters. your music is very poignant :) Oh, and thanks for favouriting me as an artist :)

Haardcore as a BAMF.

I like the fact that you're trying new arenas/genres of music. It's a very interesting, almost happy-hardcore mix. There's a lot of noise going on. It's almost industrial.

The glitches at 1:35 are AWESOME. I love how the kicks are just spazzing out. And then the rhythm from 1:45 onwards is very catchy, and the sample is manipulated very nicely and interestingly. At 2:30, the electric-guitar-type-synth comes in, and it starts to sound like a heavy-metal song. Again, the mashing together of song genres proves mind-bending.

It's very dissonant though. There's a lot of noise and randomness, which might be a staple of this genre, but it gets a bit out of hand at about the 3:15 mark. It doesn't really have much of a "groove" from that point on, if that's the word. I like the point from 3:50 on, but there's still too much intensity going on. There needs to be a quiet "epic strings" part, or something. That's what I feel it needs, at about the 3:15 mark.

Anyway, great production. Thanks for sharing!

ahh 3 15 its a break down the grove from the parts before are like 1.2.3.4 thin when you get to it its more like 1...2...3....4....1....2....3...4.12.
.3.4.
as for genres
on a hard kinda scale first you have hard style thin when you want it a bit harder you have hardcore. thin finely you get to a point to where its just hard and heavy distorted thats called gabber
gabber has more distorted kicks and more nasty samples

and what not so this is like a hardcore gabber song
i took alot of infulince from my band that i use to play in (china) guitar (i planed on doing that in person but there was to much feed back on the recording thing)
witch brings me back to the breakdown in my in a generic scremo song theres breakdown like such that have little to no grove but they work and everything as long as you have lots of bass :D
this is a hellstorm of generes being mixed
witch i love cos well lets face it this song stands out a bit more thin normal songs

Almost apocalyptic sounding

I like the jilted feeling of this song. It has an irregular rhythm, that creates some space in between beats. This is good "breather" space for the song.

And the bass is happily humming along there. I like the general feel of this piece. Also, at 1:30 when it changes the beat. That's pretty awesomely fantastic :) I like the growling noise that it makes. It's very scary.

Then, at 2:30, it goes to more hardcore stuff. And then it escalates from there. I like the rhythm change at 3:30. It brings it down a notch. The kicks are pretty booming, and it's awesome. I can see why this is one of your highest rated songs, because it's so balanced and easy to listen to. It rocks hard, too! :D Well done!

Good job

im thinking bout redoing the mastering and drums and go sample crazy more thin it already is

this was my atempt to mix hard core and dubstep do to the fact i started hardstyle hardcore thin started lerning dub step well nasty dub step XD
haha im glad you liked ^^

I can see what the guy below me means.

There's bass there, but it doesn't really hit. It just seems like you're not IN the sound, but you're just watching it from afar. Until about 0:40, and then you're into it. But the drums seem a bit weak and far away. Maybe it's just the way you've EQ'd the sample.

But yeah, I think what Antiskill means is that there's no stereotypical dubstepp-y bass going on there, like the WUBWUBWUB kind. But that doesn't make it good. Your song is good, but it just needs a bit of mastering, because it's not very... engaging at the moment.

I like the moment at 2:00 when you re-EQ the sample. Then at 2:10 you feel right at home again. It just feels like everything is less... present. Lacks presence a bit. But it's very good.

Thanks

yeaa i dident know where to put this in genres
the prob with this is i masterd it toooo much
drums yeaaa
bass is so strong that in order to keep the highs i had to drop mid and low bass
witch is where most the drums sat
i have ulternet renderings (less bass) and more drums
if you want a better masterd one that has less bass i can upload it!

I like the sample very much.

It interests me, and it is done very well. And then at 0:33 that synth comes. It just ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF. There's no way that that bass is from earth. And then MOAR BASS at 0:45. But it doesn't rock my socks off as much. But it's not the total. Then 1:10 comes. And it's FANTASTIC.

MOAR BASS.

Ok, just a pinch of bass.

We would like some more bass.

Just a little shake of bass.

Yep.

no no no nooo morreee bass!

first drop is like this has like no bass o.o
second was inted to be a little anti climatic!
and its like oh wtf sad face thin bam :D bass! :3
bigist prob i had is where do i go after that D: cos that bit was maid from complet randomness

Cool & nostalgic!

The main synth was really well done, and it came in quite nicely, and there were very cool glitches throughout. The hi-hat may be a bit too harsh on the ears, but the rest was fine.

You've remixed the song quite finely my friend, glitches and all. I notice there's some panning thing going on at about the 1:00 mark. I like the glitches that happen at 1:10, because they're quite mellow, but also very pronounced.

I would have liked a change of general melody somewhere, because it was getting quite grating on the ears after a while. I know that repetition is difficult to overcome, but it's worth it in the end.

Overall great glitchy song that may benefit from some mastering and variation. Good on ya!
